Common Elektron Digitakt II Questions

How do I sync the Digitakt II to an external MIDI clock source like my DAW?
Go to Settings > MIDI Config > Sync and set "Clock Receive" to ON. Then, in your DAW, send MIDI clock information to the Digitakt II's MIDI input (specify MIDI channel as needed).
What's the difference between a Project, a Pattern, and a Sound Pool on the Digitakt II and how do I save each?
A Project contains all Patterns, Sounds, and Settings; save it via Function + Project (hold) + Save. Patterns hold the sequencer data for a single sequence, saved via Function + Pattern (hold) + Save, and a Sound Pool holds the Sound Library for that project, saving the project saves the Sound Pool.
How do I quickly copy a sound from one track to another on the Digitakt II?
Hold the SRC button on the track you want to copy *from* then press the track button you wish to copy the sound *to*.
Why am I not hearing any audio when I trigger a sample on the Digitakt II?
Check that the track level is turned up, the sample isn't muted (Track Menu > Mute Mode), and that the main volume knob is not set to zero. Also check the routing in the output section to make sure your tracks are outputting as intended.
How do I use the expanded stereo features of the Digitakt II, like panning and width control?
Access the panning and width parameters by navigating to the AMP page of a track. Use the dedicated knobs to adjust the stereo placement (Pan) and stereo field width (Width) of the sample on that track.
