Common Digitakt 2 Questions

How do I sync the Digitakt 2 with other MIDI devices like a synthesizer or another drum machine?
Connect the MIDI OUT of your master device to the MIDI IN of the Digitakt 2 and the MIDI OUT of the Digitakt 2 to the MIDI IN of your slave device. Then, in the Digitakt 2's Settings > MIDI Config > Sync menu, configure the Clock Receive to 'MIDI' and Clock Send to 'MIDI'.
How do I save a Pattern, a Kit, and a Project on the Digitakt 2?
To save a Pattern, press [FUNC] + [PATTERN] and choose a slot; for a Kit, press [FUNC] + [KIT]; and for a Project, press [FUNC] + [PROJECT]. Remember that saving a Project saves *everything* - Patterns, Kits, Global settings, etc.
What's the best way to quickly audition different sounds or samples across all tracks on the Digitakt 2?
Use the 'Sound Browser' (press [SOUND]) which allows you to browse and load sounds onto any track on the Digitakt 2 without interrupting playback; use arrow keys, knob A/B to navigate.
Why isn't my external audio coming through the Digitakt 2's inputs, even though I have them connected?
Make sure the 'External In' level in the 'Routing' menu (accessed via [FUNC] + [GLOBAL]) is turned up, and that the external input isn't being routed elsewhere (like being muted via a performance macro). Also, confirm the external audio source is sending a signal.
How do the new *Tracks* (stereo audio or MIDI) work on the Digitakt 2, and how are they different from the original Digitakt?
The Digitakt 2 introduces stereo audio tracks, which allow you to process sounds in stereo, and also MIDI tracks that can now control external synths with up to 8 voices of polyphony. Unlike the original Digitakt, these tracks offer greater flexibility for sound design and external gear integration.
